It All Started With A Vision...

NatureWorkshop is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational, scientific, and charitable purposes to produce specialized consulting, training, systems, outreach, retreats, and education for assisting individuals, specialists, and communities on the benefits of nature.

We are inspired by the dream of democratic and equitable access to the economic, physical, psychological, and spiritual benefits of nature-aligned sustainable environments, including regular, direct experience in the natural world; safe, affordable, uplifting shelter; nutritious life-supporting fresh food; cost-effective renewable and alternative energy; salubrious wellness and lifestyle practices, soul-enriching, beneficial, meaningful work; and healthy, peaceful communities. We believe that these practices are reciprocally supportive.

We develop services and programs around a nature-centered, sustainability paradigm that combines research, teaching, and service with the philosophy that a personal connection to the natural world is not only beneficial to our health and longevity, but also translates to true sustainability. When we realize just how much the natural world can help us live more fulfilling, peaceful, and balanced lives, we tend to want to protect it and minimize our environmental impact. We also support other non-profits, programs, and causes that align with our mission through financial contributions, service, and marketing.
